DBS Check (previously CRB)

DBS (Police Check)
DBS barred lists

The Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and the Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) have merged into the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). CRB checks are now called DBS checks.

Jobs that involve caring for, supervising or being in sole charge of children or adults require an enhanced DBS check (previously called an enhanced CRB check).

This includes checking whether someone is included in the 2 DBS ‘barred lists’ (previously called ISA barred lists) of individuals who are unsuitable for working with:

– children
– adults

Firstly you will need to make an appointment to come to our offices in London Victoria.

When you come for your appointment you will need to bring these documents: (without these your check cannot be processed)

  1. Passport or UK Driving License (valid and up to date)
  2. Proof of UK address (no longer than 3 months old) e.g. utility bill/bank statement

(If you do not have these documents please contact us so we can provide you with alternative options)

The appointment should last no longer than 10-15 minutes and will require you to fill out a short form so we can make sure we have the correct information to go ahead with the application.

The cost is £70 and can be made before you come to the appointment over the phone or you can pay cash when you come to meet us.
